Add preset to the list of windows instead of triggering it with the run command

I was shocked the first time I used preset, my carefully debugged preset could not be seen in the window list, very frustrating, only to find out later in the dev docs that it needs to be triggered separately via run, this experience is very bad, two categories of commands should not be introduced into a program, it adds to the user's burden of comprehension, and it becomes more complex in terms of interactions, please make preset to the function list by default.

Hi xageGtex, I think you may be looking for the custom actions feature, which is not yet available. Presets have a different purpose. The use case is that you still write the prompt manually, and instead of typing the same things over and over like information about you or preferences about the response, you put this in Preset instead.

Hi Jarek Ceborski ! 👋
Just adding details on why I voted on this feedback : I was not looking for a "custom actions feature" (I think)
The first time I launched Kerlig, I missed the presets feature, because they doesn't appear in the list of "default actions". You have to write "run" to be able to use them.
Should presets appear as a default action to improve discoverability ? Not looking for something fancy, just like the translate action:
1️⃣ You have to select the "Translate" entry
2️⃣ Then choose the language.
Does presets can work the same ?
1️⃣ You select "Presets"
2️⃣ then select the preset you want ?
Have a great day !

Yann Moriaud Thanks, yes, what you've described are custom actions. Presets are just additional context you can attach to a prompt you type manually or dictate.

Same. bought kerlig because I was 100% sure I could use my prompts, but can't.
Many of my prompts don't need any extra "ask" input and should just be ran on whatever I put in.
Let me add my custom prompts to the command list (and treat them as vanilla as possible, not sure what this "about me" section does if I leave it empty)
