[Done] Being able to remove the app context by pressing Delete on open.
Francesco Bianchi
I find very annoying that every time I want to simply ask a question, I need to manually click on the "X" of the current app context to remove it (e.g. I open Kerlig while viewing a web page, and it shows me the web page as attached to the chat, even though I don't necessarily want it included).
My ideal scenario is that I open it via a shortcut, and if I press delete (with the text input empty), it automatically removes the current context.

It's released in Kerlig version 2.3.3

Thanks Francesco. I anticipated that there would need to be a way to configure the auto-adding behavior. I was also thinking about being able to set it on a per-app basis. See the mockup – what do you think?

Jarek Ceborski it's possible. I think for me it's less dependant on the app, and more on the specific task I want to carry out. Example: I visit a website and I get a question I want to ask, but it's unrelated from the website itself. On the other hand, there are many times where I want to ask questions about the web page. So I think having a preset based on the app would not work for me.
Maybe I'm biased, but the current workflow with Cursor is the one that feels most natural: When I open a chat, I have the current file selected by default, but clicking Backspace will remove it (or remove one by one if more files are attached). On the other side,

in the chat opens the possibility of adding context to the chat.Jarek Ceborski
Francesco Bianchi yeah that makes a lot for sense, I will add that shortly!
